Responsible Gaming at 8b99 — Play Smart, Stay in Control
8b99 is committed to keeping gambling fun and safe for every player in Bangladesh. Our tools and guidance help you stay in control at every step.
Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming
8b99 was built for players across Bangladesh — from Dhaka to Chittagong, Sylhet to Khulna — who want to enjoy cricket betting, live casino games, slots, and more in a safe and trusted environment. We recognise that while the vast majority of players gamble responsibly for fun, a small number may develop gambling habits that become harmful. 8b99 takes that responsibility seriously.
Gambling on 8b99 should always be viewed as paid entertainment — similar to buying a movie ticket or attending a sporting event. The outcome is never guaranteed, and no player should gamble with money they cannot afford to lose. 8b99 strongly encourages all players to set a personal entertainment budget before they start, and to stick to it regardless of whether they are winning or losing on the day.
Our responsible gaming programme is built around five core principles: prevention, player empowerment, early intervention, confidential support, and zero tolerance for underage access. 8b99 continuously invests in the tools and systems that underpin these principles, and our support team is available 24/7 to assist any player who needs help managing their gaming activity.
Responsible Gaming Tools Available on 8b99
All of the following tools are available free of charge to every registered 8b99 player. You can access them from your account settings dashboard at any time, or by contacting the 8b99 support team directly.
Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much you can deposit into your 8b99 account. Once a limit is active it cannot be increased until the current limit period expires — protecting you from impulse decisions when emotions are running high. Limits can be decreased immediately.
Time-Out
Take a short planned break from gambling without closing your account. Time-outs are available for periods between 24 hours and 6 weeks. During a time-out your account remains open but all gambling activity is suspended. Your balance is safe and withdrawable at any time during a time-out.
Self-Exclusion
Request a longer break from all gambling activity on 8b99 for a minimum period of 6 months. Self-exclusion is activated promptly once requested and cannot be reversed during the exclusion period — making it the most effective tool for players who feel they need a serious break. At the end of the exclusion period, a cooling-off assessment is required before reactivation.
Reality Checks
Enable session reminders that pop up at intervals you choose — every 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Each reminder shows your current session time and the total amount wagered during that session, helping you stay aware of how long you have been playing and how much you have staked.
Activity History
View a detailed breakdown of your betting and deposit history at any time from your account dashboard. Reviewing your activity regularly is one of the simplest and most effective ways to stay informed about your gambling patterns and catch any concerning trends early.
Tips for Healthy, Enjoyable Gambling
These six habits can help any player on 8b99 keep gambling enjoyable and within safe boundaries. Adopting even a few of them can make a meaningful difference to your overall experience.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling can develop gradually and may not be immediately obvious. If you recognise any of the following in yourself or someone close to you, it may be time to use 8b99's responsible gaming tools or seek outside support.
- Spending more money on gambling than originally intended, or regularly exceeding the budget you set for yourself.
- Gambling to escape stress, anxiety, boredom, loneliness, or problems at home or at work.
- Chasing losses — continuing to place bets after a losing session in an attempt to win the money back.
- Lying to family members or friends about how much time or money is being spent on gambling.
- Neglecting work, studies, family responsibilities, or personal health in favour of gambling.
- Borrowing money, selling possessions, or using savings earmarked for essential needs in order to gamble.
- Feeling restless, irritable, or distressed when unable to gamble, or when attempting to cut back on gambling activity.
Recognising these signs early is a strength, not a weakness. 8b99 encourages any player who identifies with these experiences to reach out to our support team immediately. All conversations are handled with complete discretion and without judgement.
Age Verification and Protection of Minors
8b99 operates a strict 21+ policy. No person under the age of 21 is permitted to register an account, make a deposit, or participate in any gambling activity on the 8b99 platform. Age verification is mandatory during the account registration process, and 8b99 reserves the right to request additional documentary proof of age — such as a national ID card or passport — at any point.
If you share a device with younger family members, we strongly recommend enabling parental controls on your device and keeping your 8b99 login credentials confidential at all times. Never allow a person under 21 to use your 8b99 account, even informally. Any account found to have been accessed by a minor will be closed immediately and any balance forfeited.
If you believe a minor has registered or used a 8b99 account, please contact our support team at [email protected] immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including account closure and data deletion, as quickly as possible.
How to Activate a Responsible Gaming Tool
Activating any of 8b99's responsible gaming tools is straightforward and takes only a few moments. All tools are available directly from your account, or via the 8b99 support team if you prefer assistance.
For self-exclusion requests specifically, contacting the support team directly is the fastest and most reliable method, as our team can process the request immediately and confirm activation within minutes.
Step 1 — Log In and Go to Account Settings
Log in to your 8b99 account and navigate to the Responsible Gaming section within your account settings dashboard. All available tools are listed there with simple toggle controls.
Step 2 — Choose Your Tool and Set Parameters
Select the tool you want to activate — deposit limit, time-out, reality check, or self-exclusion. Enter the relevant parameters (limit amount, duration, or reminder interval) and confirm your choice.
Step 3 — Confirmation and Activation
Your chosen tool is activated immediately upon confirmation. For deposit limit increases or reversals of certain settings, a mandatory cooling-off period applies to prevent impulsive changes. Our support team will send a confirmation to your registered contact details.
Getting Help if Gambling is Becoming a Problem

You do not need to be in crisis to ask for help — reaching out early is always the right choice.
